We are really sorry for all the wrongful assumptions and misunderstandings that happened during the booking of the chalet :( This could have all been avoided if we have consulted the class first, for the dates and times, it is our fault for assuming on the dates we booked, everyone would be free.

Yes, due to the fact that there is a promotional period from april to may, which is a 3DAYS2NIGHTS stay in ARANDA for the price of $220, we wanted to book the chalet Before June.
And since we only discovered this around 2 weeks before, we are afraid it would be full booking by them time we tried to book. Therefore, we decided to do first then think.
Also, as we thought that HBL week, most people should be still in the country, since it is supposed to be a school day, and so we thought those three days would be a really good choice.
We are really sorry if there had been any misunderstandings caused by this rushed decision, and for the lack of clarification.

We do realise that our past chalets have been somewhat boring at times due to the lack of planning. We have been stoning for quite a long time. THUS, this time, must-plus-chop have good planning!! And so, we have come up with a list of attractive activities =D that we can do during the chalet. FEEL FREE TO ADD MORE!

Yeahhhh its financial lit week and its ENDING! Hope you guys learned a lot about managing your finances coz you're gonna have to apply all this later on in your lives... Remember, its not the results that matter, its the process that's important. (I have STM so I don't think that's right at all. But you guys are smart, you'll get it, eventually...)

Investing is one darn important thing in our modern economy, it actually runs it. So invest invest invest! Juz don't lose too much. If you don't wanna invest, then start a business, or find a new energy source thingy!!! OUR EARTH IS DYING! Our ancestors/grandpeople/people older than us/our fellow residents of the earth have denied us the luxury of a comfortable future where we can burn burn burn the DEAD DINOSAURS WHICH EXISTED LONG AGO and produce electricity which runs my poor dying laptop which isn't really supposed to work. I think I lost you.

Final note: Please share your wealth when you get rich later on in your miserable lives. If you are a collector of debts or death warrants, RUN! (Or go to the guy who can clone people, then get your clone to distract the authorities while you swim to Johor using a bendy straw to breathe)

P.S. Help submit stories about your WONDERFUL LIFE with 09v13, it must be awesome. Or retarded. If its assholish I'll personally shoot pearls coated with milo at you repeatedly. I swear I will. Two pieces of news for everyone:

1) According to the email Mr Boy sent out, they'll be discarding the sofas from the classrooms because they're "worn and torn". I'm sure you all know that our sofas are new, and so well, duh, throwing them away would be retarded. I emailed him already, but if he replies and says we have to move them ourselves, it has to be done early this coming week. (Like 21st Dec, Monday)

2) IPO Senior Junior Bonding: apparently we're given a timeslot during IPO for bonding, and so we're to do up a proposal about what we wana do during that period. I'll do up the proposal, but I need ideas. If anyone has any suggestions, please SMS me by tomorrow, 20th Dec.

Well Bonjour readers! I would like to take this opportunity to remind you guys that our (normally the word awesome is used here but this is an exception) fellow classmate, Gerontius Moneyface Lim Jun Theng, is celebrating his 15th birthday this week! Yea, I saw him first, as I'm awesome and all with my 6/9 eyesight, haha nice "joke haha", so I told the rest. Amazingly they believed me and LTAOed (Lmao with a 't') yea and them being awesome (excluding MoneyFace) ran outside to say hi. Yea then he told us some story about how he lived there before and was going to eat dessert. (: Yea, Mr Chan is juz awesome.

Woots, my third post in a row. .__.

Anywaaaaay...

As you all know, I won't be in school for the first week of school, so there are a couple of things that I have to leave in the hands of our brilliant arsonist and welfare reps, and since I'm on the comp, I might as well leave a blogpost for all of you to see.

1) Double temperature taking
The temp taking forms are with me atm, so I'll try and find some way to pass them to you over this weekend. Probably will dump them in Sandhya's locker. Remember kay, to go drop the class list into the box in the GO after each temp taking. (Yeah, there are two lists, one for each temp taking.)

2) Handphone collection before lessons thingy
Think you all have read that email. Your CT Rep obviously won't be there to facilitate the collection of handphones, so if you -cough forget cough- about it, then well, there's a weak excuse for you to use. Idk who's getting the box for handphones though.

If I'm off duty on Wednesday, then I'll probably have to attend school that day. And I can return you your charger then, Abdullah, or you'll have to wait till the following week. And sorry Vanessa, think I seriously misplaced the White Tiger.

Just to let you all know, the chalet at ARANDA has been booked for 18th and 19th June, so mark those dates down in your calenders okay! :D

Reminder to bring $20 bucks tomorrow (even if you decide now that you're not going) to cover the basic cost of the chalet. Note that it doesn't already settle the food issue, so yeah. That's not so much of a concern at the moment, but JUST BRING YOUR MONEY TOMORROW. :D (So Tessa won't need to go set your house on fire)

Feel free to pay more than $20 though. We can always use the spare cash for the class fund. :D

I'm here to say that all of you must, and I mean absolutely MUST, watch Wolverine. Because it is just totally and UNBELIEVABLY awesome. And the storyline is good. And it's wayyy better than the other 3 X-Men movies although it's a prequel. Yupp. And Wolverine is super cool, as in the character. Plus Hugh Jackman is like, damn hot. Haha. Yupp. So go watch it okay? I swear you will LOVE it. Haha. Alright. So enjoy the rest of the weekend people.

In case you didn't know, for the LA test, y'all need to know ALL the theories we learnt (Core + Enhanced). So like, say for the Author Centered Approach II, y'all have to know like, The Invention of the Author, but you don't actually have to know the examples (eg. Homer). Yeah, I did some checking for the chalets. I can get Aranda at $280 per night (cause my mom's an NTUC card holder and all), but it's a matter of availability only. 'Cause I think either Aranda or the other Pasir Ris chalet place is gona be the residing 'village' for the upcoming AYG, so if we happen to be super suey, we won't be able to book any rooms. ):

So yeah, we have to faster decide so I can go confirm and all kay. :D

chalet rates

Hey people, I went to check out the chalet rates and such, so.. it's $210 per night for Coasta Sands at Downtown East. That's the cheapest I can find, considering the fact that it'll be during the school hols.

However, for the chalet at Downtown East, there's only Deluxe room, which is one pathetic room and 2 beds, with another 2 pull-out beds.

The chalet at Pasir Ris (5 mins walk from Downtown East), has 2 storeys. BUT. We have to book 2 nights MINIMUM, cuz it's the hols, which will cost $580 altogether.

The other chalet, Aranda, is super duper ultra awesome. BUT. It's $400 per night. And if I'm not wrong, we have to book 2 nights minimum.

So which one do you guys prefer?

OH. All the rates mentioned above can actually be MUCH lower, if there's someone who's a ntuc member. So, if you know anyone's who has ntuc membership card, please say! The rates will be decreased around half? And then we can get the better chalet. So yea. NTUC MEMBERSHIP.
